History

A Ver Quien Soy Café means “Let’s see who I am” — both a question and a commitment we strive to live up to every day. Founded in 2021 in Antigua, Guatemala, our café began as a specialty coffee project rooted in curiosity and creativity, supporting small producers and high-quality ingredients. We serve high-quality Guatemalan coffee from five regions, brewed with care, along with fresh pastries, bagels, and a wide selection of drinks — from tea and matcha to smoothies, craft cocktails, and local beer.

Founded by Juliana Stricklen from the U.S. and Otto Menéndez from Quiché, Guatemala, the café blends global and local influences into a uniquely welcoming experience. Juliana brings her experience bartending and managing a small jazz club in New Orleans — along with her love for coffee, signature craft cocktails, Louisiana gumbo, and a deep connection to music. Otto combines years of culinary experience with the flavors and traditions of his hometown in Quiché, plus a love for craft beer and eclectic playlists. Together, they’ve created a space that celebrates good coffee, good food, and a love for art and sound — a place to cultivate creativity in the heart of Antigua.

Located just a few blocks from Antigua’s famous Arch on 2da Calle Poniente, A Ver Quien Soy Café invites you to slow down, connect, and savor the moment.
